How to Install jacal software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jacal software package provides Interactive symbolic math system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jacal

jacal is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jacal package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jacal *

You will get with jacal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
